In addition to acting towards achieving important strategic goals such as zero fatalities and preventing occupational and environmental accidents in its operations, Petrobras adopts and encourages good practices with suppliers and partners through excellence programs.
Among the awards is PEOTRAM - Operational Excellence Program for Air and Maritime Transport, which consists of an annual audit system with the objective of seeking operational excellence in the provision of helicopter and maritime and special support vessel services. The finalists of the 2024 Cycle of PETROAM were awarded on Tuesday afternoon (18) at the Cenpes Auditorium - Petrobras Research Center, located in Rio de Janeiro - RJ. To receive the award, director André Weber Carneiro represented the Belov Group at the event.
The Belov Group began its journey in this program in 2017 and, since then, has continuously invested to align its practices with strategic management. This commitment to continuous improvement unfolds at all levels of the organization to positively impact results and service quality. For Weber, "the award reflects the company's commitment to operational excellence, exceeding goals and respecting the environment, always under the non-negotiable pillar of safety."
PEOTRAM is used as a criterion in Petrobras' contracting processes and, since 2021, has been adopted for analyzing the greenhouse gas (GHG) emission requirements of companies. The gain in fuel economy, for example, is associated with the reduction of CO2 emissions, and aligned with Petrobras' decarbonization objectives and goals. The scores of companies that participate in these programs are also used as a competitive advantage in vessel tenders.
