The Belov Piatã vessel is christened in Aratu Bay

On the morning of this Thursday (29), the christening ceremony of the Belov Piatã vessel took place. This is a dredge built by Estaleiro Belov for the maritime collection of Lithothamnium, a raw material explored by the nutrition company Primasea. The project is the result of a partnership initiated in 2023, which includes the construction of the ship by the Belov Group and will operate in the service of PrimaSea for the next five years.

The ceremony began at the Office Center of the Mapele Shipyard, where Estaleiro Belov is located. Initially, the partner companies presented their institutional videos and teams involved in the project, and Primasea paid a symbolic tribute to the shipyard director, Sérgio Belov. Marcos Parahyba, naval projects manager at the Belov Group, provided more details about the launch and invited those present to the seaside to officially christen the vessel.

In her speech, the godmother of the Belov Piatã said she was very happy to have been chosen for this title, as the christening of a vessel is important to recognize and celebrate the effort of many people involved. Captain Lamin, representing the Port Captains, presented a plaque to the godmother of the vessel with wishes of fair winds and a warm welcome to the sea.
