The Belov Group took its Shipyard to the 18th Navalshore – Maritime Industry Fair and Conference, held from August 20 to 23, 2024, at Expo MAG – Rio de Janeiro/RJ. Considered the largest meeting of the maritime and offshore industry in Latin America, the event brought together the main companies linked to shipbuilding.
The public got to know the facilities and business information of the Belov Shipyard presented through institutional videos, press kits and chats with members of the Belov Group. Customers, suppliers, business partners and shipbuilding enthusiasts also appreciated miniatures of the Shipyard's original vessels.
Among the various personalities and professionals in the industry, the stand was visited by engineer Luis de Mattos, from the RBNA Sociedade Classificadora (Brazilian Registry of Ships and Aircraft), who was welcomed by Juracy Vilas-Bôas (Offshore Director) and Marcos Parahyba (Naval Projects Manager). The Shipyard Director, Sérgio Belov, also attended Navalshore 2024, as did members of other operational units of the Group.
In addition to participating as an exhibitor, the Belov Group was represented at the official Navalshore conferences, with the lecture “New Trends in Shipbuilding”, presented by Marcos Parahyba. His presentation addressed issues regarding scenarios, perspectives, innovation, new materials, processes and integration of technologies, from construction to operation and maintenance of vessels.
In yet another famous edition, Navalshore brought together professionals, shipyards and companies from the naval and offshore sector from various parts of the world, promoting a special event for networking, experiences, business rounds, technical knowledge and commercial partnerships.
