At the end of April, professionals from the Belov Group participated in a series of tests, using simulators, for ship maneuvering operations at a new berth that will continue the expansion of the Port of Itaqui, in Maranhão. The activities were carried out at the University of São Paulo-USP, in the Numerical Test Tank (TPN), under the guidance of Professor Eduardo Aoun Tannuri and his team.
Hélio Aragão, Contracts Manager, represented ITAQUI BERÇO 98 SPE LTDA, a partnership formed by the Belov Group, EXE Engenharia and EDECONSIL, and the Manager of the Mapele Maritime Site, Dilson D’Assumpção, successfully carried out the simulations.
The Maranhão Maritime Authority, the Port Authority, local pilotage and the Port Projects Office were also present at the activities.
