Belov Group has completed an important service in the Campos Basin region of Rio de Janeiro state. The offshore geophysical mapping project is essential for determining the sedimentary layers of the seabed and, in this case, is essential to provide data for the installation of an Offshore Jackup platform.
A triple-layer Geo-Source Sparker with 400 tips, fed by Geo-Spark 2000 XFO sources, was used for the service, in addition to 96 and 48 channel streamers. This advanced equipment was essential for obtaining accurate and high-quality data.
In total, a total of 356.97 linear kilometers of seismic lines were mapped, of which 275.00 kilometers were processed and detailed in the final report. This survey provided penetration into the seabed that exceeded the project's expectations, resulting in an even more successful conclusion.
